Patcham Local Action Team
Patcham Local Action Team (PLAT) is a group of volunteers working in partnership with people such as the Patcham residents, Council Officials, members from Sussex Police, local schools, interested groups and a wide range of community representatives within the Patcham neighbourhood. The (PLAT) area is the same as the Patcham ward boundary. The PLAT meets each month at The Patcham Community Centre which is in Ladies Mile Road. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7pm. Invitations to our meetings are open to all local residents in the chance to unite in an effort to improve their community, and to tackle the issues that matter to Patcham.

We aim to improve both the area and community life by -Working to reduce crime and fear of crime. -Working together with other local groups. -Sharing information/resources and skills between groups. -Considering environmental issues. -Working with various service providers. All our meetings are open to anyone. If we think an issue would be better dealt with in another local group, then we’ll point the person in the right direction. We meet once every two months.
