Day of National Remembrance - 11th November
Various Services will be held throughout Brighton & Hove to mark the Day of National Remembrance attended by the Mayor, or representatives, as follows:
Saturday 26th October

Launch of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal
The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, Lewes Road, Brighton
Sunday 3rd November
2pm Act of Remembrance - World War II Memorial
Bear Road Cemetery, Brighton
A wreath laying ceremony will take place at Bear Road Cemetery, Brighton, BN2 4DA.
Thursday 7th November - 10:45am
Blessing in the Garden of Remembrance, War Memorial, Old Steine, Brighton
A short service will be held at the War Memorial in the Old Steine, Brighton.
Sunday 10th November - 9am
The Royal Sussex Regimental Association Remembrance Sunday Service
The Royal Sussex Regiment Memorial, Regency Square, Brighton.
This short service starts at 9 am, please assemble by 08:55.
Sunday 10th November - 11am
Brighton Parade and Service
War Memorial, Old Steine
A parade will depart from Madeira Drive to the Old Steine War Memorial for a Service and wreath laying beginning at 11am.
Sunday 10th November - 11am
Easthill Park Memorial, Portslade
A Parade will depart from Portslade Town Hall, Victoria Road, Portslade at 10.20 am and proceed to Easthill Park for a ceremony and laying of wreaths at 11.00 am.

Hove Cemetery, Old Shoreham Road
(South Gate Memorial followed by North Gate Memorial)
A short wreath-laying ceremony will take place first at the North Gate Memorial at 11.00 am, followed by the same ceremony at the South Gate Memorial.
Sunday 10th November - 2.30pm
War Memorial, Grand Avenue, Hove
and All Saints Church, The Drive, Hove
A Parade will leave Hove Town Hall at 2.10 pm and proceed to the War Memorial, Grand Avenue, Hove, for a wreath-laying ceremony. From there a Parade will process to All Saints Church for a full Service of Remembrance beginning at 3pm. Persons not wishing to view the Parade may make their way directly to the Church for the Service if they wish.
Sunday 10th November - 4.25pm
Brighton & Hove Branch of the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen & Women’s Service
The service will be held at the Brighton & Hove Progressive Synagogue. Ralli Hall Jewish Community Centre, 81 Denmark Villas, BN3 3TH.
Monday 11th November
11am - Two Minutes Silence
Two minutes silence will be attended by the Mayor at the Old Steine war memorial in Brighton and by the Deputy Mayor at the war memorial in the Drive, Hove.
